Continue on RT northwest from the center of Montgomery. Just over the bridge is a small parking pull off with room for only a few cars on the west left side of the road. In about 3 miles, take a sharp left onto Blackmer Rd. View Waterfalls in a larger map. Take a left and you will travel downhill to the floating bridge in the center of Brookfield. Stay on this for 4. Turn right onto Morristown Corners Road.

Park here and follow the well worn path uphill. From Brattleboro, take RT 30 north. Just after the bridge park in the dirt pullout on the right side of the road. This road becomes Main Street just past the left turn off for Powerhouse Road.

Take a right onto Lincoln Gap Road. Beautiful old marble quarry filled with fresh, clean water. Walk down path through woods. The number of conscientious swimming hole visitors vastly outnumber those who abuse these places. View Waterfalls in a larger map.

Just over the bridge is a small parking pull off with room for only a few cars on the west left side of the road. Parking is available just before you cross the bridge. This section of the river is extremely private. You can, however, walk across the bridge. In this area northwest of Brattleboro off RT 30, are several swimming holes. As a warning be very careful pulling out of the parking spots. There is a terrific hole that is hidden down a very steep embankment on the right hand side heading south on Rte
